Inner child work:
1. Are you finding yourself reacting to other people, acting in extremes, being overwhelmed, taking things personally?
2. Are you continuing to use a substance or behavior in spite of negative consequences? (Addiction)
3. Are you lying about or hiding your honest thoughts and feelings in order to protect yourself or make someone else comfortable? (Adapting)
Most of us have heard of the idea of the ‘inner child’--yet few of us really know how frequently we have this child aspect of us within us running our lives. We also don’t know how to call upon and develop an inner adult self that is truly able to handle the tasks and challenges of our adult lives. We can teach you how to identify when the child part of you is triggered---what the child really needs from you and how to provide care and parenting to your own inner child. This work is fundamental to emotional and mental health.
